In 1957, the Planes of Fame Air Museum opened in Chino, California. The new attraction drew people from all over the west who wanted to see the legendary airplanes that were on display. Today, you can still visit this museum in Chino and view more than 150 classic planes and pieces of aviation history. The Planes of Fame Vintage Metal Sign is a great gift for anyone who loves visiting the museum or who studies the history of airplanes. Part of the Victory Girl collection, the sign is inspired by advertising posters that date back to when the museum opens and features an image of a plane flying over a barn. The artwork is made with pigments heat sealed onto American steel.
