The face of this 14-inch diameter round wall clock is adorned with a map of the western hemisphere, as it was believed to appear in 1730. Constructed out of ABS plastic, the case of the clock is black in color and offsets the brown tones of the map perfectly. An optical lens covers the face of the clock and protects the battery-operated quartz movement and the dial. Flip the on and off switch to illuminate the face of the clock with the integrated LED light source. The illumination is electric powered and the attached cord can be plugged into any standard 110-volt outlet.
