Vintage Metal Sign World Races 36 x 24 Inches
In 1914, the fourth annual Indianapolis 500 race was held in Indianapolis, attracting the best race car drivers from around the world to compete for the prize. The Vintage Metal Sign World Races is designed to look like an advertising poster for the race. The sign shows the Number 16 car speeding around the track, which just so happens to have been the number of the vehicle that was driven by French race car driver René Thomas who took the prize that year. The words "World's International Auto Races" are printed at the top of the sign in red, and the bottom has the location of the race and the date written in a matching font.
A great gift for anyone who loves auto racing, the Vintage Metal Sign World Races is American made and measures 36 inches by 24 inches in size. The artwork is affixed to the powder coating of the metal with heat. Weighing 10 pounds, the sign is drilled and riveted.
