Vintage Hancock Axel Grease Metal Sign 8 x 14 Inches
In 1906, the Hancock family of Southern California founded their own oil company, going on to strike it big in the industry. Up until the company was sold to Signal Oil in 1958, the Hancock Oil Company operated refineries across the country and produced a wide range of products. The Vintage Hancock Axel Grease Metal Sign brings back an advertising sign for one of those products with a photographic image of it baked into the middle of the design. The sign recreates all of the details of the advertising signs used to promote the product in gas stations and garages across the country.
Made in the U.S., the Vintage Hancock Axel Grease Metal Sign is 8 inches wide by 14 inches high. The sign is produced out of American steel and is fully sublimated for durability. Each corner bears a drilled hole for hanging. A rivet has been added to each of the holes to keep the corners from bending.
