The pretty pinup girl featured on the Vintage Gas Pump Pin-Up Girl Metal Sign got the blood pumping at the filling station back in the 1950s when it made its debut. The sign features a buxom gas station attendant in a sexy uniform poised to fill up the tank of an unseen classic car.
Behind her, an antique gas pump can be seen, and beside her, the remarkable price of $.15 per gallon is proudly displayed. The sign has a unique shape and measures 13 inches in width by 26 inches in height. At 3 pounds in weight, the Metal Sign is perfect for gas stations, auto repair shops and rec rooms.
This redesign of the classic gas station design is the work of artist Greg Hildebrandt and an American-made product crafted from heavy-gauge steel formed at US mills. To enhance its durability, the colorful, retro image is baked into the metal's powder-coating before the sign is put through a vintaging process and then pre-drilled and riveted for hanging.
