Star Theatre Metal Sign 12 x 18 Inches
In 1956, a brand new movie theater opened in Oceanside, California, with "Moby Dick" featured on the marquis. This state-of-the-art theater was designed by the legendary architect William Glenn Bach, and today, it is the only one of his California theaters still in operation. The Star Theatre Metal Sign by Larry Grossman shows the Star Theatre just as it looked in 1956 with "Jet Pilot" and "Them" showing inside of its huge auditorium. The sign is very detailed, making everything from the sky to the vehicles on the street seem lifelike.
A great gift for a lover of movie history or anyone who loves the Star, the Star Theatre Metal Sign is 12 inches by 18 inches high. The sign is crafted in the USA out of thick American steel. The gorgeous painting that inspired this sign has been transformed into a pigment-based design and then baked onto the metal. To make hanging a simple task, the sign has riveted drill holes in the corners.
