Retro Street Car Pin-Up Girl Metal Sign 18 x 12 Inches
During the 1910s, 1920s and 1930s, Peter Witt was called upon to create streetcars for some of the largest cities in North America, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco and Toronto. His designs were legendary, and the streetcars he created were almost attractions in their own right. The Retro Street Car Pinup Pin-Up Girl Metal Sign pays tribute to the designer and his legacy with a pin-up girl poster design rendered in vivid color. A lovely blond in a blue dress is shown just behind one of his famous streetcars. At the top of the sign, the words "Climb Aboard and Take a Ride" are printed, and at the bottom, the names of the cities where his streetcars one ran appear.
The Retro Street Car Pinup Pin-Up Girl Metal Sign is 18 inches by 12 inches in size and weighs 2 pounds. Like Witt's legacy, the sign will not fade over time, as the pigments that produce the image are baked onto the 24 gauge US steel. Made in America, the sign is fully drilled and riveted for hanging.
