The Retro Java Night Train Metal Sign is an exact reproduction of an actual advertising sign for the train that was used sometime during the 1930s or 40s. The sign shows the train streaking down the tracks of what was then known as the Dutch East Indies. The retro design has a palm tree in the foreground and mountains in the background. The night sky adds beauty to the design, and the moon is shown full overhead.
