Retro Double Cola Metal Sign 36 x 24 Inches
From the Angela Faye licensed collection. In 1922, Double Cola appeared on the market in the United States and to this day maintains a cult following among fans who prefer the soft drink to Coke or Pepsi. To market the brand, Double Cola traditionally relied on wooden signs inside of soda shops, drugstores and diners and also purchased advertising space on billboards and the sides of barns. Artist Angela Faye has used these classic advertisements as the inspiration for the Retro Double Cola Metal Sign, which has the look of an antique advertising sign.
The colorful image is designed to look as if it were made of wood, but it is crafted from 24 gauge US steel for added strength and durablity.
Measuring 36 inches by 24 inches, the sturdy Retro Double Cola Metal Sign weighs 10 pounds.
The heavy-gauge steel has been sublimated to seal the advertising image into the powder-coating of the metal.
Hand-vintaged to give it an aged look, the sign is made in the USA and is pre-drilled and riveted.
