Over the image rests a clear, optical grade Lexan lens that stops any sort of scratching or yellowing. On the rear of this clock is a black ABS plastic casing that houses an LED light source discreetly. To power on the LED light, simply plug it into any 110-volt wall outlet. Keeping the time is an accurate quartz movement that uses a single AA battery to function.
