Covering the clock face is a sturdy and clear optical grade Lexan lens that at once stops yellowing and scratching from occurring. On the opposite side of the clock is a black ABS plastic that encases an LED light source. Power this LED light on using any typical 110-volt outlet. Install a single AA battery to get the quartz movement inside of the clock working.
